The CW special presentation is now over, which means the Suicide Squad trailer is now online for everyone to see!

Well, what did you think?

I’ve seen some people comment that Suicide Squad is Warner Bros. Guardians of the Galaxy, so it could totally surprise us on the DC Comics movie front.

Suicide Squad arrives August 5th.

While I like what I see here, I really don’t like that the trailer resembles the “Guardians of the Galaxy” one so strongly. I hope that that is a trailer-only thing, although that would make it even worse in some ways.

Suicide Squad just became my most anticipated comic book property film of 2016. I mean, Civil War still looks wonderful, but if this film is half as well put together as this trailer is then it is going to be one fantastic ride. This trailer honestly might be one of the five best trailers I have ever seen.

Not only does the trailer have fantastic editing matched perfectly with one of the greatest songs ever recorded, it also successfully introduces all of the characters and sets up the premise for the movie. Maybe my expectations were low before this, but I am blown away by this trailer.
