Comicbook.com is reporting that Marvel will drop Daredevil season 2 on Netflix Friday, Marh 25th – which just so happens to be the same day that Batman V Superman will hit theaters worldwide for DC.
While putting forth a streaming series confined to Netflix is not necessarily a shot across the bow from Marvel to DC, this is not the first time that the two rival companies have scheduled release dates for their IPs at the same time (does anyone remember the Civil War/Batman V Superman thing from last year?). In the past one company has always backed down in the fact of such rivalry, but this time it seems likely that both Daredevil and Batman V Superman will be staying put.
While Batman V Superman and Daredevil are wholly different in their viewing experiences and styles of storytelling this could also set the scene for a barrage of arguments on social media about who is choosing which nerd experience first.
What are you looking forward to seeing in Daredevil season 2? Are you going to start watching right at midnight? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

I am looking forward to Daredevil way more than BvS, but I won’t see either at midnight of the 25th. I would like to see the comparison of how many people watch each of these in that first weekend. The odds are high I will watch at least half of Daredevil in that first weekend.
I think it was really mean of Warner Bros./DC to schedule their film on a day Marvel was going to want for Daredevil before too long! I mean, come on! Marvel would never do that to them! Would they? :)
