In addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe announcements, Disney has revealed the release dates for The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3.

Here is the massive rundown of releases and movies from the studio that brought in $1.4 billion domestically and $2.6 billion from the international box office.

  • “The Incredibles 2” – 2019
  • Pixar’s “Cars 3” – Summer 2017
  • “Toy Story 4” – June 15, 2018
  • “Coco” – November 22, 2017
  • Untiled Disney Fairy Tale (live action) – December 22, 2017
  • “Gigantic” – March 9, 2018
  • Untiled Disney Fairy Tale (live action) November 2, 2018
  • Untiled Disney Fairy Tale (live action) March 29, 2019
  • Untiled Disneytoon Studios – April 12, 2019

  • Untiled Pixar Animation – March 13, 2020
  • Untiled Pixar Animation – June 19, 2020

That is a lot of fairy tale movies coming our way, which probably means more animated movies getting the live action treatment/adaptation, which many of you seem to resent/hate.

I’m somewhat surprised that Disney is not nailing down an exact date on The Incredibles 2, when it is exact on untitled movies.  Still, THE INCREDIBLES 2 IS COMING!

  1. Wait, there’s going to be a Cars 3? Why? As for Toy Story 4, I’m okay with it if it’s a new cast, but a continuation of Woody’s story isn’t something I’d be fine with. They got a good conclusion in 3, after all.
