For some reason, the Pumpkin Incident has gone down as one of the best moments in Critical Hit history. And thanks to Flailingwings, we have that scene fully animated.

ENJOY!

Boy howdy did this take a long time. And by a long time I mean when I started this I hoped to finish it by fall… last year. This took so long that halfway through I switch both programs AND styles.

If I worked on this every day it only would have taken a few weeks. But as it often does, life got in the way, and motivation comes and goes. Though it’s a thing to be celebrated, I finally have a colored animation to my name! And I learned so much through the process! Thanks to everyone who said they liked my animations, this one is for you!

No, THANK YOU for a job well done!

These are BRILLIANT! I’d like to see every episode (from the beginning) animated by Flailingwings… ok thanks.

  2. I just re-listened to this episode, and I laughed harder through it than I did during pretty much any episode other than #dontkillpoke.

  3. Fantastic! How about one of Trelle Torq and Ket riding the crocogater! Or maybe the discussion about jumping down the well or not?

  4. Flailingwings, this is absolutely wonderful. So much care was taken to focus in on and heighten lovely little details that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Pure brilliant.

  5. Epic!

I would love one about the unseen servant “dying” to the darkness engin in the tower.

You know the one where Matthew does the voice of the servant “What?! I can’t hear you over the *wanwanwan noise*”

Oh Wow! Thank you so much for doing that. This wasn’t one of my favorite scenes but it definitely is now! I love how the characters that aren’t there keep popping into the scene. Illustrates how hard it can be to stay in character! The expressiveness of their faces was amazing for such cartoony drawings! Please do more!

  7. Oh that was great, I’d love to see the scene where Orem is trying to wrangle free accommodation in the hotel by pretending to be related to the chancellor of the university :)
