As a Sherlock Holmes fan, I read this book many years ago, and saw the movie some time after that. It’s a pretty interesting story, with some shocking turns along the way. I’d definitely recommend it…but keep in mind, it plays VERY fast and loose with the canon. As they said in these preview pages, it completely negates both “The Final Problem” and “The Empty House” (the death and subsequent return of Sherlock Holmes).
…What happens instead, you’ll have to read and find out!

(I did not realize that Nicholas Meyer also wrote and directed The Wrath Of Khan…Fascinating!)
