  1. I’m going to be “that guy” for a minute, just to out rules lawyer Rob.

When La Capitan is flipped, you don’t have a choice about preventing damage and removing cards. You have to remove all the cards before you can actually deal damage to her again.

It wouldn’t have made a difference in this game, but it’s the spirit of the thing.

Also, Rob’s hatred for Plague Rat echoes my hatred for La Capitan. This is probably because I love playing her nemeses, The Sentinels, and her deck has a lot of “hero with the lowest hp” effects.

    • Also, the numbers game for heroes and villains goes as follows:

      Base game – 10 heroes, 4 villains
      4 small expansions – 8 heroes, 16 villains (2, 4 each)
Mini expansions – 3 heroes, 3 villains (Heroes – Unity, The Scholar, and Guise. Villains – Ambuscade, Miss Information, and Wager Master)
Vengeance expansion – 4 heroes, 5 Vengeance style villains (have to be played as a team
Upcoming expansion – Villains of the Multiverse – 10 Vengeance style villains

Total – 25 heroes, 23 regular villains, 15 Vengeance style villains
