We’ve seen a Samurai Stormtrooper and a Samurai Darth Vader, and now we are totally ready for a Boba Fett Ronin action figure.

The Ronin Boba Fett action figure is sculpted by Takeyuki Takeya and Junichi Taniguchi with the Mandalorian armor looking more like a samurai who has lost his master.

In addition to his EE-3 rifle portrayed as a flint-lock style blaster, this deluxe figure set features an extensive array of accessories – including characteristic backpack missile that can be removed / attached, plus the helmet-mounted scope is moveable! In addition to short ninja-style katana and sheath, numerous ninja-style blade accessories that can be subtly attached to shin and forearm areas are also included!

I really dig these alternate takes on classic characters and designs, and this 6.5-inch figure hits the spot. The $90 price tag also hits the spot – that spot in your wallet between making rent and impressing your girlfriend with an awesome looking action figure for her birthday.

The Ronin Boba Fett arrives from Bandai’s Meisho Movie Realization line in January.

I’m not normally into figures or statues but this is pretty spectacular.
