My tastes on art vary greatly, but it boils down to “I know what I like when i see it.” That’s the case with Grant Gould’s Han Solo piece that he did in 2007.

I based this on the likeness of Gentle Giant’s Han Solo animated-style maquette. Drawn with brush pen, colored in Photoshop.

Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

It will be interesting to see if Grant does something for the new Star Wars movie when it arrives in December.
