We’ve already seen Batman ’66 meet Green Hornet, now Batman and Robin are getting read to meet the original Avengers.

DC Entertainment’s Dan DiDio announced that Batman and Robin characters from the Batman ’66 series are set to crossover with Steed and Mrs. Peele, the original Avengers.

While it is not as crazy as the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover that IDW Publishing and DC announced earlier this week, it should be interesting to see how Batman and Robin’s method of operation crosses paths with British spies.

  1. I would actually consider this a bit weirder than the Batman/TMNT crossover, but that is just by my point of view. Can’t wait to see how it plays out.

  2. This crossover actually makes a bit of sense – but if they do a crossover with Gilligan’s Island or Mr. Ed, I am outta here…

  3. Though, when I come to think on it, if they replaced the Batmobiles with My Mother The Car, that might be interesting… horrible but interesting.
