During the Warner Bros panel it was announced that the previously titled Green Lantern movie will, in fact, be a Green Lantern Corps movie and feature a variety of characters from the galactic DC Universe. A photo was shown during the panel of the corps, although no specific characters were named and no casting announcements were forthcoming.

It seems that Green Lantern Corps will keep it’s previously announced release date (June 19th, 2020), for the time being.

I want to see G’nort in some capacity. Maybe not as a main character, but still something a little more prominent than merely a background cameo.

I’m honestly more interested in which non-human Lanterns will be part of the group than I am which members from Earth will be present. I’m sure Kilowog will be there and probably Tomar-Re, but I really hope we get at least one member of the main cast who isn’t even humanoid, like maybe Chaselon or Larvox.

I’d prefer John Stewart over Hal. Too bad John is not tied to Sinestro like Hal is.

Wow, they are taking quite a risk with this one. Of course, Guardians of the Galaxy proved that weird space super hero stuff can work and be popular.

As much as I love the green lantern in DC, I very much dislike the people doing their movies. I hear this and my first thought isn’t “Oh, I can’t wait!”, but “please don’t screw it up again…”

And for the love of the Wise One, can we please have stories with someone OTHER than Hal Jordan? I wanna see more John Stewart – that guy was awesome.
