Top Cow has released the first issue of Adr1ft – a comic book they did for the upcoming game, for all the Major Spoilerites to read right now!

ADR1FT is a forthcoming FPX (First-Person Experience) from Three One Zero and 505 Games. In ADR1FT, the player is Commander Alex Oshima, an astronaut who awakens, floating in orbit above Earth amid the wreckage of Hardiman Aerospace Northstar IV. With no memory of how she got to this point, Alex realizes that her EVA suit, the only thing keeping her alive, is leaking oxygen. In order to survive, Alex must navigate the space station remnants to find precious resources, discover what caused the catastrophic event, repair the emergency escape vehicle, and navigate it safely back to earth.

The comic series, written from Commander Oshima’s point of view, breathes life into the other members of the crew aboard Northstar IV. The first issue, featuring French Government Space Program astronaut and renowned space pioneer Sebastian Olivier, is available for immediate download from and

“It’s a dream come true for me to be involved with a comic book series based on ADR1FT. Being able to explore the relationships between these characters and expand their universe outside of the game is incredibly exciting and we plan to take full advantage of the opportunity.” said Adam Orth, co-founder and Creative Director of Three One Zero.

Matt Hawkins (Think Tank, Aphrodite IX, Tales of Honor) is doubling as producer and writer for the series; Luca Casalanguida (Lukas: Reborn, Nathan Never) is the artist. Hawkins said: “After playing an early build of the ADR1FT game, seeing all of the game materials, including the crew’s bios, and talking to Adam about the game and the Hardiman universe, I chose to write the comic myself – it’s a part of the story I want to tell and am happy Adam trusted me to tell it.”

505 Games will publish ADR1FT for Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2015 and for VR headsets when available.
