Pinnacle Games has announced it is launching a Kickstarter campaign to give The Sixth Gun the RPG treatment.
Based on the Oni Press series by Cullen Bunn, Brian Hurtt, and Bill Crabtree The Sixth Gun centers around a set of six guns, each with a dark power, and the forces of good and evil trying to get them back. Having an RPG set in the weird wild west seems like a good fit for the property.
“Anyone who knows me, knows that I’ve loved roleplaying games since I was in second grade,” said writer Cullen Bunn. “Even though I don’t play nearly as much as I did during my heyday, I still collect games and roll dice with friends when I get the chance. I always felt there was a natural chemistry between comics and gaming, and I’m absolutely thrilled to see The Sixth Gun being developed by Pinnacle for roleplayers everywhere! I think this is a game that will appeal to a lot of people on a lot of levels. It has fantasy, horror, action, and—of course—gunslingers a-plenty. We’ve gone to great lengths to develop an exciting world for the comic book series, and now gamers can add their legends to the landscape we’ve set up for them! I know my gaming group will be going through a few Sixth Gun RPG adventures!”
Next week (May 26th), Pinnacle launches a Kickstarter campaign to give fans a chance to pre-purchase the game (and get incentive stuffs, too).
