A lot of people (i.e. half of the Internet), flipped out when director David Ayer released the first official photo of Jared Leto in his Joker garb. Some hoped the tattoos would be downplayed, while others speculated the tats were a publicity stunt. New photos have surfaced from the set of Suicide Squad that show the ink work is clearly visible.

Of course the Joker would roll up in a purple Lamborghini with a HAHAHA license plate – HE’S THE JOKER!

Im not sure about how I feel about this. That forehead tattoo screams they are trying waaaay too hard but on the other hand, It could be otherwise great. Guess we have to wait and see. Mixed bag.

  2. As I’ve said before, I don’t think it is a bad look for an interpretation of Joker, but I’m not sure if I’m for or against the look until I see how the character is portrayed in the movie. What the writers and actor bring to the character are going to be what tips the scale for me on liking the look or not.

At least he doesn’t have Bat-nipples on his costume, so thats a plus.

  3. I kind of get the interpretation of the Joker that would have him covered in tattoos and dressed like this. I see what they’re going for.
I just don’t agree with it. It’s not a version of the Joker that interests me.
