Heroic Publishing has announced it is releasing Psyche the Occult Detective, that features the return of WitchGirl.

ps01_cover1If you remember the black and white boom of indie comics in the early to mid-90s, then Psyche the Occult Detective will seem very familiar to you. Heroic Publishing has announced it is bringing color to these pages, and hint at more to come as the new super-sized series first reprints the original series with the intent to create new stories following issue #5.

Psyche the Occult Detective #1 features the adventures of the occult detective, Psyche, a member of Heroic’s League of Champions.

The first issue of Psyche the Occult Detective features a cover by Mark Beachum, plus three adventures, including the first chapter of the classic “Dark Passion” storyline by Dennis Mallonee and Mark Beachum, “The Origin of Psyche” by Dennis Mallonee and Chris Marrinan, and from way back in Champions v2 #4 the very first appearance of Psyche’s favorite frenemy Sylvia the Vampire.

Psyche the Occult Detective #1 arrives in early July.
