William Shakespeare’s The Phantom Menace
Join us, good gentles, for a merry reimagining of Star Wars: Episode 1 as only Shakespeare could have written it. The entire saga starts here, with a thrilling tale featuring a disguised queen, a young hero, and two fearless knights facing a hidden, vengeful enemy.
‘Tis a true Shakespearean drama, filled with sword fights, soliloquies, and doomed romance . . . all in glorious iambic pentameter and coupled with twenty gorgeous Elizabethan illustrations. Hold on to your midi-chlorians: The play’s the thing, wherein you’ll catch the rise of Anakin!

Ragnarock is finally here. The show to end all shows promises to be a lovely experience for all the gods…wait. Oh noes! Jamie and Matt have drawn Baphomet drenched in blood on the cover. What a hilarious internal communication error. I’m sure it’s a mistake and nothing to do with the story whatsoever.

I’ll throw in my two cents in movie costume debate. I actually think several of Suicide Squad costumes are alright or even good but regarding super hero costumes in general: It really doesn’t matter if Wonder Woman or whatever costume has all the colours of rainbow if those don’t show anywhere in the actual film, so that argument has no weight until its proven we’re going to see anything else than dull grey filter everywhere. Until then we have to assume its going to look similar to promotion material because that’s apparently what they want us to see. Especially in Warner’s DC movies, because thats what Superman’s costume looked like in posters and thats also exactly what we got, so how could or should we assume anything different?
Man of Steel Superman costume is also much brighter blue in real life, but it might as well not be because we have never seen it. There’s also a youtube video about how Man of Steel could have looked like and I’m willing to go as far as say it would have been much better received if it looked like how it was in the more colourful version. It affects overall feel that much.
Re-Animator just finished screening here on tv in Australia. Great movie – might check the comics out!
