nobody did anything with the ultramarines (they might have been marvel ripoffs/parodies) so he wrote an awesome sentence and shoved them into a recurring infant universe. that sentence being “Superheroes” who don’t mind killing to achieve their ends can be dangerous in the wrong hands … these “no-nonsense” solutions of yours just don’t hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel”
I… didn’t like this book as much as you two did. It is certainly far superior than Convergence, but there are some jumps in the story that I didn’t understand and while I didn’t hate the art, I didn’t love it either. There are some fun things in this book and I’ll probably read it again at some point, but to me, it is only an average book.
