And then the phone booth disappears out of reality, being replaced by a minotaur in plate armor. It sighs and looks for something to eat.

    Hey guys, loved the podcast.

To clarify an earlier comment, Rodrigo’s character PDK was associated with Venom because at the time there was a very limited description of powers. In fact the description of PDK was “a former super-villain, like a spider man villain” and had “a little invulnerability, a little super strength”. As Venom is a former Spider-Man villain that now has his own series, seemed like a good fit. Though now if be more inclined to say Avalanche from the X-men.

Anyway thanks for generating awesome content each week. As always, looking forward to next episode of critical hit!

Modern City brought me back to critical hit after in subscribing enduring the negative listening experience of the 5e game. Much more positive and the system (and genre) really plays to the strengths of the team, which is very creative and strong roleplay. Thanks for bringing me back to critical hit.

Do you guys have images going up for this game? It seemed like this one had a lot of referencing to what was going on on the map.

Just found the show last month lucked out with starting right at the modern city creation! Love what you guys do, have to ask… Does Rob happen to be Robert Mays of Grantland? They sound very familiar as well as would explain Free Agent as well… Just wondering if this is a big coincidence or what. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I was in my local gaming store the other day to buy my Princes of the Apocalypse book when I spotted some Fudge dice under glass at the counter. It’s probably a good thing that they were out of arms reach, or it might have been another impulse purchase inspired by the Major Spoilers crew!

Hmm, so they all go down to the bank to get PDK a job? Can you really trust PDK around all that money? I guess I will have to listen to it on my Friday drive.

That line where Rodrigo asked about a word that meant you cared about something and someone said empathy…when he said ‘oh right, that’ for some reason it was the funniest thing ever.

Modern City continues to be a fun listen–I just wish everyone would become VIP members, so you guys could do multiple RPG podcasts!
