During the WonderCon Talk Back Panel on April 5th, 2015 it was announced by showrunners that WonderCon 2016 would no longer be returning to its Anaheim, CA convention home, but moving north to the Los Angeles Convention Center that has housed Stan Lee’s Comikaze since 2012.

Although the 2016 show dates have not yet been revealed the reason for the WonderCon location change is ongoing construction and expansion of the Anaheim Convention Center. Anaheim hasn’t been WonderCon‘s only home, in the past the convention have been hosted in Oakland (1987 – 2002), before moving to San Francisco until 2011 and finally landing next to Disneyland.
