Gohan and Trunks fight against the unstoppable Androids #17 and #18 and try to save as many human lives as possible. It’s a new fan film that probably won’t cause all the brouhaha like last week’s Power/Rangers flick, but it is entertaining.

This series is an adaptation of “The History of Trunks” TV Special. In this timeline, Goku & the other Z Warriors are dead. This is the story of Gohan & Trunks in their battle to survive against the Androids.
Dragon Ball Z: Light of Hope is a non-profit, live-action Dragon Ball Z web series. It’s made by fans, & is not affiliated with or endorsed by the official license holders.
One of the weird things about fan films, and where the nature of the fan film gets sticky is when money is involved. In the case of the Power/Rangers flick, it didn’t cost anyone to watch or see the film. The creators of this piece are seeking fan funding to make the next episode. Though they will probably squeak by, Toei Animation could easily think that money is being made off of the intellectual property and cause the hopes and dreams of these creators to crumble quickly.
