I love Matthew’s “Texas down home” announcer’s voice at the beginning of the podcast. Matthew I hope you get a lot of voice-over work with that character voice.
That’s not Matthew…It’s one of or many Major Spoilers fans who have contributed to the show :)
Thanks Stephen. It’s a great intro.
Ha, ha, ha! Brian and Rodrigo are such a hoot.
I love all of you, but they won the MVP this episode :)
Still my favorite podcast on the www.
Got to agree with Adrianna’s character – some conversation would be awesome here and there.
Keep in mind that one of the main goals for this Off season game is to show case a pre-packaged campaign. When trying to run one page for page by the provided book, giving even a little character to an NPC beyond what is written has potential to throw things way off track. Strictly from a presentation point of view I can see why Rob wouldn’t want to deviate too far off the page so as not to advertise something that’s not in the product but it sounds more like he was ready to just be finished with the game to me
liked the part where Vesca tried to hit on the Drow… and missed. And this being the weekend of Valentine’s day
Poor Matthew, I’m starting to feel his pain. He rolls terribly all episode then finally gets a big hit – and smacks Vesca.
I’m not sure if he’s just been unlucky, or if Malagog is a bit broken. Having DEX as his dump stat has not helped. In my own campaign, the fighters felt a tiny bit underpowered at lower levels, but things turned around about level 3-4. Our archer just hit level 5 and he is now mega-lethal.
They actually chose not to level to third… :/
and then it’s all “Third edition sucks! Boo hoo hoo!!”
edit: fifth
This episode should be called “Ket’s Revenge”
