The LEGO Ideas site has generated incredibly popular sets designed by the amazing LEGO community and two more sets have been picked for production: Doctor Who and Wall-E!

The Wall-E set was designed by Angus MacLane, a Pixar animator and director, who created the set while working on Wall-E. Grabbing this set will certainly be popular, especially those builders who delve into the world of LEGO Mindstorms.

Doctor Who and Companions was created by AndrewClark2 and after being looked at twice by LEGO Ideas has been selected to become an official set. A Doctor Who set has almost been a guarantee since LEGO was granted the property licenses back in 2014, opening the door for fans, like AndrewClark2, to again submit their Who sets.

Details about the set releases were not given by LEGO but we can certainly expect to see these sets before the end of the year.

The next round of LEGO Idea reviews is now set to start with even more licensed properties that I’m sure have many fans salivating over.
