The comics were carefully chosen by comic shop retailers on the FCBD Selection Committee and feature something for everyone from superheroes, to action-adventure, and all-ages favorites. The Gold Sponsor publishers include Archie Comics, Bongo Comics, BOOM! Studios, DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, Marvel Comics, Titan Comics, United Plankton Publications and Viz Media.

I know there are some people who hate Free Comic Book Day and consider it nothing more than a waste of time, resources, and blatant hype, but for me, Free Comic Book Day has become one of my favorite days of the year.  I can’t wait to get my hands on these comics (and more) in May.

Check back next week, when the Silver Sponsor titles will be revealed.
