As a long-term fan of comic books, I’ve long been a proponent of the ‘combine two characters’ school of storytelling, especially when they’re an unlikely pair.  Power Man and Iron Fist, Daniel Bryan and Kane, Black Canary and Oracle…  All combinations of existing characters that make for great pairings.  Nowadays, since everything is owned by six mega-conglomerates anyway, crossover stories are much easier to pull off, and thanks to Disney’s massive intellectual property aegis, it would even be theoretically possible for Han Solo and Spider-Man to work together, with a minimal amount of story effort.  (Please note: I said “possible”, not “advisable.”)  In my head, I’m actually assembling a Justice League of Walt Disney cartoons featuring Super-Goof, Darkwing Duck, Robin Hood, Vanellope Von Schweetz, Rafiki, Stitch and Panchito Pistoles, which leads us to today’s fanboy/fangirlish query…

The MS-QOTD (pronounced, as always, “misquoted”) figures that Baloo The Bear acting as Obi-Wan to Hercules would also make for one hell of a story, asking: What two Walt Disney-owned characters would you team up for the ultimate buddy movie?

The mighty ducks Donald and Howard. It would be interesting to see who wears the trousers in that relationship.

I’m thinking the Green Team of Yoda & the Hulk would make for fun interplay.

One from Disney owned Column A and one from Disney owned Column B, Disney owns too much entertainment.

I’d actually like to see a Disney/Marvel crossover where Howard the Duck tries to get home, but ends up in the world of Darkwing Duck/Ducktales and teams up with Donald Duck to stop Magica De Spell (who caused the rift between Marvel and the Duckverse to open) since most of the “heroes” of that world (including Darkwing and Gizmoduck) have been incapacitated.
