The Death of Wolverine may bring about the death of Logan in the coming issues, the name Wolverine will live on in a new weekly series by Charles Soule and Ray Fawkes in 2015.

Marvel has yet to make the announcement of the series at New York Comic Con, but MTV was given an exclusive interview with the creators, along with covers and interior pages to give fans an idea of what they can expect from the new weekly series.

Attendees at NYCC will want to go to Marvel’s “Death of Wolverine- The Logan Legacy” panel today to get the official word from the heads of Marvel, but here is what we know as of now about the upcoming series:

  • Mystique, Daken, Sabretooth, X-23, Lady Deathstrike and a new character will be uncovering secrets about Wolverine’s death
  • Wolverines will be a weekly series with a continuous narrative
  • Editor Mike Marts and Soule hinted that we might be seeing Wolverine in the series
