Papercutz will be at the New York Comic Con this week, and the publisher sent us a rundown of what they have planned for the big show.

Here are just some of the highlights from our broad range of events and activities:


FRIDAY 5 pm – 7pm: Mick Foley, WWE SUPERSTARS writer and WWE Hall of Famer will be signing at the Papercutz booth with his son, Hugh Foley! Make sure to pick up your free copy of CRAZY CHRISTMAS, Hugh’s first graphic novel, starring Hugh and his dad and featuring beautiful artwork by Jill Thompson.

FRIDAY 4 pm – 5pm,
SATURDAY 1-3 pm: WWE SUPERSTARS artist Paris Cullins will be sketching and signing at the Papercutz booth.

SUNDAY 11 am: MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS artist Mindy Steffen (aka”Mindy Indy”) will be sketching and signing at the Papercutz booth

Editors on Editing:
Talk to actual working Editors from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Papercutz and more as they discuss the business. Learn about submissions, professionalism and what it takes to make it as an Editor. Support by Nicole Scalera. Hosted by Buddy Scalera of Comic Book School.

FRIDAY, 6:15 pm
“Bwaaaaaaaaah- the Rabbids are Taking Over Pop Culture!”
They have started out as Ubisoft video game characters but the RABBIDS are taking over pop culture. This year sees them starring in a hit TV show, a red hot toy line from McFarlane Toys and all new graphic novels from Papercutz. Papercutz Editor in Chief and RABBIDS graphic novel Writer Eric Esquivel will be joined by Special Guests from all parts of of the RABBIDS franchise to discuss why these strange creatures have become the pop culture phenomenon of 2014!

SUNDAY, 2:15 pm
Sketching from Life with Mindy Indy:
Cartoonist Mindy Indy will teach kids of all ages to see the world as their canvas. Kids will start by sketching a variety of objects in front of them, and then later sketch themselves! Sketching is looser than drawing and doesn’t need to be “perfect.” Students can move at their own pace and just have fun!
