Fans will remember Cooper’s Howard Stark from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and will return along with co-star Hayley Atwell to the world of SSR (Strategic Scientific Research), in 1946. Agent Carter will air on ABC.

    • While I understand the time-frame issues are a problem, I greatly prefer John Slattery’s take on the character to Dominic Cooper’s. Cooper has the mad scientist aspect down, but he completely fails to exude the suave confidence of Slattery and, as his son, Downey Jr.

Since this is going to take place I imagine, in the late ’40s and ’50s, obviously Cooper is the only choice for the role. Either way, I loved Carter’s cameo in the SHIELD premier, and look forward to this show, as well.
