I’m always looking for inspiration – especially on days when I’m totally bored with everything and can’t get motivated. If you are a Firefly fan, and you have a lot of duct tape lying around, you may find inspiration in duct tape modeling.

Jacob LaRocca built this model of the Serenity ship from the defunct series Firefly, completely out of duct tape. Twenty-three pounds of duct tape!

According to Jacob, he spent 110 hours and 27 rolls of tape to build.  I don’t know what this guy does for a living, but that is dedication to a project.

These are just a few of the image of the entire ship. If you want to see a very detailed build of the project, Jacob has a photo gallery of the build at his imgur page.
