Here’s something that will blow your mind a little bit – Dr. Tina McGee will return to The CW’s The Flash television series.
For those of you who don’t know who Dr. Tina McGee is, she is the doctor who helped the Flash in the first live action television Flash series from the ’90s. This is really interesting because it says something about that original series, and how it still resonates with us decades later..
The CW already hired John Wesley Shipp to play Barry’s father in this series, so hiring Amanda Pays to reprise her role may all just be a nod to the original series, and not some nefarious plot to blow our minds. Still… it is fun to think that network television is smart enough to try and do a parallel Earth story, and in the process placing the original Flash television series in continuity.
Now if Mark Hammill shows up…
The Flash debuts on October 8, 2014 on The CW.

I wouldn’t be surprised, to be honest. He even reprised the voice of The Joker in “Birds of Prey” (though someone else was the physical Joker), so I could easily see him popping up in some capacity at some point.
