In a weird merging of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the main Marvel Universe (Marvel 616), fans will see characters from Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD in comic book form in the 616.

The announcement has Mark Waid, Carlos Pacheco, Alan Davis, Chris Sprouse (and more) doing the done-in-one tales.  SHIELD #1 will arrive in December, with each issue featuring a different artist.

    Awesome! Now they need to make Agent May and Black Widow fight each other for some reason (even if it is just for training). That would be so cool!
