Just announced at Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel, John Layman and Javier  will be the new creatives for Cyclops starting with issue #6.

Layman (co-creator of Chew) just finished up a run over at DC writing for both Detective Comics and Batman Eternal but will now switch to the other big publisher and take over writing the solo Cyclops book. Garron has also worked with DC with issues of Batman Eternal and Batgirl: Futures End to be released this fall with his work.

Layman and Garron will stick with the space-pirates theme going forward with issue #6.

Could there possibly be a less interesting character in the marvel universe?
