The first announcements to come from Marvel’s Hall H panel are all about Ant-Man! A villain has finally been confirmed and Hank Pym has a daughter.

The cast of Ant-Man was brought up on stage to kick off the Hall H panel and that led to the confirmation that Evangeline Lilly will be playing Hope Van Dyne. Lilly said that she wasn’t able to talk about her character much because she hasn’t even read a script yet.

We were also finally introduced to the villain of the film Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket to be played by Corey Stoll. House of Cards fans will recognize Stoll as Rep. Peter Russo from the first season.

A small clip of Ant-Man was shown at the panel but it was stated that filming doesn’t officially begin for two weeks. Smart move of Marvel to bring something to show after the delays and mishaps that have taken place this summer.
