  • Expect the space race to be a big focus in the next American Vampire arc. What does that mean? Space chimps that become vampires! Mummies! Werewolves! Demons!
  • There has been no official word on a follow up to The Wake.
  • Fables #150. Two words; Body. Bags.
  • An upcoming arc of the Fables spin-off series, Fairest, will focus on the Farm, and the dissatisfaction over Prince Charming’s failed campaign promises.
  • FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics is in an arc set in a different reality in a small Alaska Town, and the arc following looks at how Cicero became part of the team.
  • The Names arrives in October from Peter Milligan and Leo Fernandez. It is a thriller about a woman seeking revenge for the death of her husband. It will run at least eight issues.
  • The Kitchen will be written by Ollie Maters and artist Ming Doyle. When Irish gangsters go to jail, their wives take over their rackets. It will be set in Hell’s Kitchen during the 1970s.

Looks like some rather intense stories coming from Vertigo in the next year, including a time traveling serial killer story from Si Spurrier and Tula Lotay.
