Ridley Scott is producing a Halo mini-series, and at the San Diego Comic Con, fans got their first look at the Xbox Live series.

The series will depict events that take place between Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians that is scheduled to arrive in 2015 (providing Microsoft doesn’t fire any more of its staff). Halo: Nightfall is directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan (Battlestar Galactica) and is written by Paul Scheuring.

The series lands on Xbox Live in November.
