This year, at the San Diego Comic Con, Diamond Select Toys will offer up new takes on Bluntman and Chronic – in Minimate form.

These Comic-Con exclusive 2-packs feature to comic-book heroes created by Kevin Smith in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

With new facial expressions and paint schemes that reflect the costumes worn in their now-classic comic book mini-series, Bluntman and Chronic each stand 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable parts. The two-pack comes packaged on a blister card, and will be available through the Entertainment Earth booth, #2343, at a price of $10.

I really dug the black and white versions of the figures that were released before, and now that they are in color, and with new expressions, fans are sure to pick up these up, and I am going to bet they sell out quickly.

DANGIT!! I wish I knew someone going who could snag this for me! Between these and a few other items (including the SDCC exclusive MMPR Ranger Keys and Dragon Dagger), there are quite a few items this year that I wish I could get but know I probably won’t be able to afford the secondary market prices.
