Press Release
IDW Limited announced it will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with a special 320-copy, limited-edition set of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Special containing an exclusive variant cover comic and hand-drawn sketch card. The 30th Anniversary Special celebrates the anniversary of TMNT with a spectacular anthology of short stories from a dream team of writers and artists from the IDW, Mirage, Image, and Archie TMNT eras, led by the legendary, Kevin Eastman.
“When we started this thing 30 years ago, we had no clue where it would go,” said Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator, Kevin Eastman. “It’s amazing to look back and see all the talented people that joined Pete (Laird) and I along the way and contributed to the Turtles in their own unique way. I hope the fans have loved reading all of these stories as much as we’ve loved bringing them to the world.”
Available online now, each $75 collector’s pack will feature the IDW Limited virgin variant cover of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Special and a hand-drawn 2.5″ x 3.5″ sketch card from a pool of classic Turtles artists and current sketch card kings, including Kevin Eastman, Dan Berger, Jim Lawson, and Danny Kuang!
The packs are in-stock and shipping now. For a full list of artists on the set and to place an order, collectors can visit: http://idwlimited.com/series/tmnt/tmnt30thsketchset.html

Oh man, I wish I had the funds for this since it would be a pretty nifty addition to my small but sentimental TMNT collection.
