This week on the Major Spoilers Podcast – Jack Kirby Estate vs. Marvel Entertainment.

Major Spoilers Poll of the Week
This week, we’re doing a little something different with the Major Spoilers Poll of the Week. In the past fights between characters have been hypothetical, rarely have we been able to see who would win in a battle. That’s changing as we put two robots in the ring to see who will win!

Printed with the MakerBot Replicator 2, two identical wind up robots (except that one is red, and the other is blue) will face off against one another, and the first one to get knocked over is the loser. Your job this week is to pick who you think will remain standing. Then, next week, we’ll post a video where you will see if you are right or wrong.

Dr. Melissa Hunsicker-Walburn sits down with Stephen to talk about the Jack Kirby Estate v. Marvel lawsuit that is now sitting at the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

  1. Aspiring Spambot on

Blue team is the true team! Red team is the dead team! Makerbot Blue is the liberator of mankind. STAND AGAINST OPPRESSION with the Blue Team!

  2. I really enjoyed this podcast. I create, review, and revise contracts for a living, and intellectual property has always been a topic of interest for me. Melissa (is that right) was very informative and engaging. I really enjoyed the insights and examples provided by her and Stephen, not only as it applies to this case but also in reference to creative properties as a whole. Great job!
