What’s an art appreciation moment without a little Batman every now and then?  Today, Sean Gordon Murphy takes on Joker, Harley Quinn, and Batman.

This is my first time ever drawing Harley! While doing research on her costume, I learned that there’s a NEW costume out there. And…well…yeah…I like the classic one better.

In this case, I’m going to have to agree with Mr. Murphy – Harley’s new look would not be a good costume choice for this image.  Of course Batman looks grim and gritty, and I like all the line work on the crumpled, and very thin, Joker.

That is one detailed sketch. I love the boxing glove gun and how it was used to tie up Harley. Then there is the remains of their motor scooter…
