I thought the movie was fantastic. I do feel like the combat scenes were choppy and I agree it’s because the actors weren’t trained but Joss Whedon got around it alright. I feel like scenes like that need a lot more attention and the fast cuts need to be banned.

Which comics was this movie based on? I seem to remember it was a SHIELD comic arc and not Captain America.

In regards to what happens to Brock at the end of the movie – I believe he will turn into Nuke who is addicted to the Red, White, and Blue drugs.

He may still end up as Crossbones, if they can inject him with a dodgy version of cap’s super serum.

Yep. The actor is credited as portraying the character that is Crossbones.

With regard to Thanos, I feel like he will be the guy for Avengers three. They needed Avengers two before they have all the people introduced that would be required for a run at Thanos. Take a look at how many infinity gem referenced there have been. They have to get Dr. Strange, Ant Man, Guardians, and a few others in there and then they can make a huge Avengers 3. Thoughts?

apparently they thanked Ed Brubaker in the movie, because he made a cameo! he was one of the scientists who was fixing up the winter soldier in the lab, when redford showed up.
