There’s a big game coming up this weekend, that we can’t use the real name for because stupid league and all, but for those who have followed my annual Superb Owl #FakeSuperbOwl feed on Twitter know that there are good times ahead.  Why talk about the Superb Owl at all?  Quite simply – we all have other interests outside of comic books, and when it comes to popular culture, the biggest football game of the season is something we should turn our eye toward.

  1. I voted Seattle. As a Wisconsin native, and having watched Russell Wilson take the Badgers to a Rose Bowl, I would love to see him win a Super Bowl.

  2. Hmm.. Horses vs Hawks. That’s a tough call.
The horse has a higher strength and base movement rate. Their “Rear” and “Buck” attacks can’t be underestimated, either
The Hawk has aerial superiority and dexterity. It’s ability to make dive attacks to the horse’s blind spots and deftly shift away from counter attacks could well be the deciding factor.

In the end, I voted Denver because its picture is larger and is less pixellated.

  3. I’d actually like to add a write in candidate of the Toronto Maple Leafs… They can’t play Hockey, so maybe they can play football. My second chioce will be Seattle Seahawks.

  4. As a football fan I am voting for the Broncos. As an MSP fan I am just waiting for Rodrigo and Stephen’s Superb Owl tweets.
