For the 5 players game I would like you to use Munchkin Cthulu, if only for the chance that everybody ends up paranoic! (or schizophrenic, etc). Besides, the game could be brought to an end quickly if Rob manages to make everybody but him a cultist :)
I first vote in favor of the standard deck. It would be a nice balance to have a potential new start be with the same deck that started the podcast.
My next suggestion would be The Good, The Bad, and The Munchkin, as I liked the quasi-role playing that crops up in those games.
I would like to see the original Munchkin also. There are so many expansions for it that you can pick one or two to go with the original to give you a nice balance. I have played with 6 people with just the standard deck and you ussually wind up having to reshuffle before anyone hits 10.
Stephen, My suggestion would be bring some of the initial fun you guys had in the beginning back. Have a new person, someone with some personality. Join I for a 5 player run. Suggest getting Munchkin Deluxe and have a box opening and really hit the positive attributes of the game and the fat that you can have “fun” and still have a game that requires some strategy. More laughs and enjoyment and less ” we’ve played this game 100 times vibe”. I still listen to the show, but it’s gotten a little stale IMO. I bought Deluxe, Legends and 2 Expansions because of you guys and my family loves it. Keep up the great work as always. A Fan, Wayne
You must not be listening to the same show we are = we’re having a blast with the combos, and it seems like all of us love Pathfinder…
