Hopefully you’ve had enough time to recharge yourself after a night of celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of the new. There is something special about this time of year – the days are getting longer, and we begin to move from a hibernating state to that of activity and life (winter to spring). As you may have noticed, the Major Spoilers website has undergone some change in the new year, and we are quite excited about it!

The new look and feel is one that has been simmering in the background for about six months now, as little pieces started to come together, and then thanks to a clever coder, it solidified just before October 2013. Personally, I love the new look and the many new features that are already present, and more that will become more apparent as you start using the site more and more over the next couple of weeks.

We hope you like the new design and style as well – go ahead, poke around and let me know if you see something odd or out of place and I’ll see if it is a bug or a feature (yes, I’ve spent many a year with programmers). Keep in mind that there are some legacy issues that may be a long time before they are resolved, so be kind.

Everyone is excited about moving forward with the site instead of looking back, and the site redesign is just one of the many big announcements and changes coming to Major Spoilers Entertainment, LLC in 2014!

  1. Can’t say I’m very fond of the site’s new style yet, but give me time. I’m fussy and resistant to change, so just give me time to adjust and I’ll probably forget we ever had any other style to the site eventually.

    Happy New Year!

  2. Night of celebrating… What’s that? I’m working tonight (9 hours down, 3 to go).

I like the new layout thus far. I enjoy being able to see more than one article at a time.

Happy New Years to all the Major Spoilers crew and my fellow Spoilerites!

  3. Looks good! I think I like it better, but it’s also cool that it doesn’t feel utterly foreign. Happy new year, and thanks again for all your work!

  4. It is a different.layout then the “normal” layout but still not bad. I’m not 100% sold on the navigation yet but give it time. In a couple of days I probably wouldn’t be able to find anything the old way. Only comment I will say right now is that the automatic email function with the comments you can’t click on unless you either leave a long comment, so again right now that is the only problematic thing I see.

Hope you all had a great new years. I am really looking forward to 2014 and seeing what comes out of Major Spoilers.
