The Planet of the Apes franchise will once again have a movie in theaters in 2014 with the sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The movie had an incredibly interesting viral marketing campaign during San Diego Comic Con, but has been relatively quiet since then.  Well after seeing the four new posters maybe the reason is because the apes being featured in the coming movie are terrifying to look at. Apes with war paint after the jump.

Apes1-800x1182 Apes2-800x1182 Apes3-800x1185 Apes4-800x1182It would certainly seem like these four are incredibly pissed at something and are ready to go to battle.

Fox has confirmed that the first trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes will be released Wednesday, December 16th at 6:00a.m. and you can be sure that you will be able to watch it here at Major Spoilers.
