While we have been patiently waiting for the Mars Attacks: Invasion set to come out (apparently it arrives on Friday), we have been keeping our head to the ground on cool additions Steve Jackson Games might be adding to make cheating even easier. We learned this morning that indeed there is a card that will do that, but you are going to have to be very lucky to get it.

Asplode Their Heads will allow the player to go up a layer, but only if they find it in their 15-card expansion pack. Topps and Steve Jackson Games are only inserting the card into packs at a ratio of one per case. I don’t know the card count on that one, but it means the chances of Asplode Their Heads appearing on Munchkin Land are nil.

Topps’ Mars Attacks: Invasion set will include a variety of other chase cards, including autograph cards from Pam Grier and other stars of the 1996 Tim Burton film, comic artists John McCrea, Charlie Adlard, Simon Bisley, and John Layman, and series co-creator Len Brown. Sketch cards are inserted at a one per box ratio, and a limited number of the original Mars Attacks cards have been inserted.

Sounds like this could be a lot of fun, and as soon as our pack arrives, you can bet we’ll be playing it on the show.
