Though viewership dropped after the first episode, ABC has given the green-light for a full season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

With the main 18-49 target audience continues to be drawn to the series, it makes sense for the Disney owned television network to give a go ahead for a Disney owned television series, which ties directly to a Disney owned movie franchise.  And from recent comments made on the @MajorSpoilers Twitter feed, most of you are still watching the series when it airs, as opposed to time-shifting it with your DVRs and iTunes subscriptions.

Have been watching with a 15 minute delay – basically setting DVR for 8:00, starting to watch about 8:15 or so, and skipping the commercials.
I am going to be surprised if this series continues much past Season 1 – it’s one of the best shows in recent memory (to my mind anyway) but I seem to be the ONLY one round the office who watches.
Glad to hear we’ll get a full season anyway!
