Legendary Pictures confirmed that it was working on a World of Warcraft movie during the San Diego Comic Con, and though we’ve heard a few rumblings about casting, the movie studio has been relatively tight-lipped on everything else.  Late yesterday, Legendary Pictures announced a December release date for the flick.

Warcraft, based on the MMORPG from Blizzard Entertainment, will be released through Universal Pictures on Friday, December 15, 2015.  With just over two years before the release, the studio is going to need to get cracking on the flick.  To date, Duncan Jones has been tapped to direct the movie, based on a Charles Leavitt and Jones script.

    That seems pretty rushed :(
