Monsters: Dark Continent is the sequel to Gareth Edwards‘ impressively well made indie creature feature Monsters. Edwards has moved on to bigger and better things with Godzilla, so this sequel is being directed by first time feature filmmaker Tom Green. Seven years on from the events of Monsters, and the ‘Infected Zones’ have spread worldwide. Humans have been knocked off the top of the food chain, with disparate communities struggling for survival.
