There are plenty of versions of Munchkin floating around, and there is always room for more, which is why the new Munchkin announcement made at GenCon 2013 makes us smile.

Fans of Adventure Time are in for a treat as Steve Jackson Games announced at Gen Con that it is working with USAopoly to bring Munchkin: Adventure Time to stores.  Though we don’t have an exact shipping date, it looks like it will show up sometime in the second quarter of 2014.

Wil Wheaton (yes, that Wil Wheaton) posted an image of the official bookmark during the Gen Con Munchkin Tavern event.

With Munchkin Pathfinder coming soon, and the myriad of expansion packs hitting stores in September and October, this is going to be a great couple of years for Munchkin fans.  Be sure to check out a future episode of Munchkin Land, where we’ll talk about the announcements in depth.
