There’s a new company out there that is making statues based on the Golden Age of Comics, and one of the first statues out of the gate is a recreation of Fletcher Hanks’ Stardust the Super Wizard.

Sculpted at 1/21 scale and standing 4.3″ tall, Stardust is the first in a new series of figurines devoted to selected superhero, science fiction and horror characters from the Golden Age of Comics. This collection is compatible with the existing series of Marvel and DC superheroes produced by Eaglemoss of England. Stardust is available in three color variants: the standard Grey Boots Edition (180 pieces produced); Yellow Boots Edition (75 pieces); and Red Boots Edition (45 pieces – almost sold out). Each variant has its own label, is individually numbered, and comes in a custom full color box. Stardust is priced at $27.95 with free economy shipping for US residents; he can be purchased directly from, on eBay, and on Amazon.

Golden Age Figurines is also working on Fantomah, Mystery Woman of the Jungle, The Black Terror, and Basil Wolverton’s Spacehawk.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years is that everything is somebody’s favorite, and I’m certain there are a number of people who will snatch up the Stardust figure very quickly.
