Many of us would naturally think that Marvel has a long-term plan when it comes to their movie-verse, but would you think they have it planned out till 2021? Or, that The Avengers was planned out in 2006? Kevin Feige dropped knowledge like that and more in a recent interview and we have highlights for you after the jump.
In a piece from writer Adam Rodgers at WIRED Feige said this about looking to the future:
I could arguably say what we’re planning for the year 2021. Will that happen? I don’t know. But what we planned for 2015 in 2006 is happening.
How was this possible for Marvel? Have a plan, learn to improvise, and prove that you have more than people expect.
Five years ago, looking at our plan, we knew that if Avengers was going to work, the movies had to stand alone. Now we have to prove to the studio that we’re more than just these five characters, these five franchises.
We can see Feige’s thoughts on proving to the studio that Marvel has more than just the five main franchises with coming films Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man. Rumors have also been mulling around about the possibility of a Doctor Strange movie, which depending on the success of Guardians and Ant-Man we might see in Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe plan.
Are there any other Marvel properties that you would like to see end up on the silver screen? Let us know it the comments below.

Doctor Strange would be cool, but I would really love to see a Power Man and Iron Fist movie.
