At a panel this afternoon anther crossover was announced for the citizens of Springfield. Instead of Quahog coming to town it will be citizens from the future!

The voice recording for the episode is currently planned to take place next month with the episode either by the season finale for the Simpsons or the first episode of the following season. Whether it is the season finale or season debut, the episode will take place after Futurama ends its run, which should be a nice gift for Futurama fans.

When the crossover takes place it won’t be the first time the character from the shows have interacted. Back in 2002 and 2005 the shows met in a comic series titled Futurama/Simpsons Infinitely Secret Crossover Crisis I and II, respectively.

Of the two planned crossovers (Family Guy and Futurama) which one are you most likely to watch? We want to hear your opinion so leave it in the comment section below!

    I’ll definitely be watching both.

But I’m curious how they’ll work out the crossover as Simpsons is a TV Show in the Futurama world (although Bender has shown up in a cameo in Simpsons a couple times and even Family Guy once). I never did get to see those comics, either, but I wanted to get them at the time.
